The iOgrapher iPad Mini Mount is the first all purpose film making case for the iPad Mini. It will be made from high grade plastic and extremely tough. Users can add 37mm lenses to its lens mount area for wide angles, fisheye look, and macro or close up (lenses not included.), and attach lighting and audio gear on its 3 accessory shoes on the top. The bottom area allows you to mount the iOgrapher iPad Mini Mount to any standard tripod, monopod, or portable dolly.
As a teacher, students would use their iPads for filming projects in my classes. I was always a bit peeved seeing the shaky footage. What it really needed was handles for steady hand support. So we added them to our case. They work tremendously well too.
The iOgrapher Mini Mount is a working prototype and field tested. The next step is to get the mold created and the first batch made. With your help we can move on to this phase and get the iOgrapher out asap. We have already sourced out our manufacturers, and the iOgrapher will be made in the USA. Our goal is to get it into our backers hands by June 2013 just in time for summer sports, movie making, parties and everything else you want to capture and share!
